AIDS Healthcare Foundation (AHF) President Michael Weinstein led a group of 75 protestors earlier today outside the Ft. Lauderdale Federal Building in Florida. The coalition of AIDS patients, health care providers and advocates are asking the Obama administration and the Florida Congressional delegation to save the state's ailing AIDS Drug Assistance Program. More than 600 people are on the waiting list to receive lifesaving AIDS drugs in Florida and that list is growing by 250 to 300 people per month. Florida is ranked 3rd in the nation for the most new cases.
