INDIANAPOLIS–(BUSINESS WIRE)–The Indianapolis Marriott East has been awarded the Meeting Industry Leadership Award by the Indiana chapter of Meeting Professionals International (IMPI). The award recognizes outstanding leadership in providing high quality meetings.

The award was presented to representatives of the Marriott during IMPI’s annual awards dinner in June. Organizations eligible for the Meetings Industry Leadership Award are nominated and voted on by the IMPI Board of Directors. The Indianapolis Marriott East has a long history of extending hospitality to the IMPI and its members. The hotel has hosted chapter meetings, board retreats and special programs for IMPI and was honored as Best Monthly Chapter Venue in 2007.
